Solved the problem of alphabetical order within albums

The problem was due to embedded cover art in ID3 tag... as simple as that
I've removed all cover art that were included in tags... and over 350 files in my player shows and play correctly.

I am using ID3v2 and all my collection has cover art embedded, some of them embedded lyrics too, so this produces my problems of order in my Meizu player.

My smart music manager (J R MediaCenter 12) has an option to remove cover art when transferred to the player, so the albums are correctly transferred and this has a plus... automatically transfer cover art as a folder.jpg in proper folder. So I just need to rename it to album name and that's it!!!

Together with other topic concerned with cover art ---> An attempt to explain Cover Art rules
I've solved all the problems of organization in my player, which is working as a breeze right now.

I have to say that most of the problems that we claim for solution are due to the fact that many functions aren't enough explained, like it is proper use of ID3 tag and Cover Art.

The thing is Meizu software works this way and works pretty well... we just need to know how :D

I disagree. Coverart in id3 tags is standard. A firmware not supporting or even malfunctioning with that is simply shit.
Still I like my Meizu ;-) I only do not defend it where it is not due.

Well i agree with the both of you .....

Meizu works.... BUT they neglect to mention the mechanism for how sorting works which is important to you organizers out there.

But on the other hand this is a feature of the Id3v2 tagging, so they should have implemented better support to begin with.

But i also am still happy with the Meizu :]

BobbyQ... you mean in ID3v2 tag Cover Art is standard, in ID3v1 it isn't.

But... I agree with you 100%, more than that, I would like that Meizu software were capable to move by itself Cover Art were they want to show it automatically, as it does USA players (iPod, iRiver and some others).

Unfortunately it's not so, with what I explain, there is still hand working to do, as it is to rename folder.jpg to proper name. I'm just trying to explain how it work (as I did with Cover Art) in order to have my Meizu working as I want. For your info...to remove all cover art from my player took me the whole day.

I was tired of play my music through the Browser, which is annoying... instead of that I manage to add #track into tag field "name" to play my music from Artist-Album menu option... this work was also annoying.
Compared with that, to remove cover art it's a minor pain.

Like people philosophically said in my country "is what we have" and I have learned how Meizu work and I've solved the problem the way I explained.

But definitively Meizu software organizing music is simply bad, not even compared according with its inspiration (iPod) which do this task in an excellent way or iRiver that do this in an awesome way.

This simply is not according with a company that is developing a monster like it is M8... as you said this is a malfunctioning

Organization of music (managing of ID3v2) and stutter issue is Meizu software's weakest point.
