Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsAre you saying that if you put a new skin in, you'll lose the new changes?
If thats what you're asking, skins only affect the resource.bin...so no.

But if that is the case, from what i understand, 2004.4 did some graphical tweaks. So wouldn't the skin changes not be correct for it :d ?
Does that make sense :X ....

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsOk...New to player (one day old) and new to this forum. I have the North American Dane-Elec 8g SL... Can I update this to new firmware and if so is it worth it, or shall I wait since it looks like it just came out? Thanks!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIs someone having trouble with Meizu's pages? It loads so incredebly slow, that my computer dont wanna download from it anymore...
If someone have this firmware, and wanna share, shout out loud!
EDIT: nevermind, madman is an angel... (a mad man angel)
Meizu Firmware Archive
EDIT2:
Got it updated to 2.004.4 now, but About in Settings still says 2.004.3... I have changed the skin to one of the custom ones here on the forum (moonflower). Does this "downgrade" it again? Thougt i read something about skins doesn't affect FW... Anyway, moonflower is tagget 2.004.4.
EDIT3: Ha, lol @ me... I've upgraded to the same FW that I had.Last edited by jale; 11-27-2007 at 08:26 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI have a question. I have just installed the 2.004.4 firmware and its working

But I would like to have de menu in Dutch, so I have downloaded 'EU S1.010.3', but haven't installed it yet. So my question is; will the language firmware overwrite the new 2.004.4 firmware, or is it just an addition to 2.004.4??
TY

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIt's an earlier version of the same firmware. In a nutshell, you don't want to install that, cuz it has fewer features and is perhaps buggyer.
I think that Dutch language isn't unlocked in the Emgeton firmware eighter *takes a look* indeed, so your best bet would be looking for a translated version of the original firmware in local parts of these forums. If you're unlucky, then you will need to use the English version eighter, or you will need to get Resource Editor to copy over the Dutch language strings to an other language's strings.
(If I have time, I might make some macro and generate firmwares for each language user, but we'll see about that
)

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsSorry to say that this firmware is very buggy. I' ve issues when trying to sync the device with WMP, the stuttering is still there, the "music library update" bug as well...
Sad... :-\

There are two not considerable problems in this firmware:
-If I go Music>Playlists>My Playlist and it has no music, the instruction text is too down or it has no scrolling bar.
-In the FM radio station list the bottom of the list there is '0.00 Mhz' and I can't delete it. Maybe all firmware has this problem.
Can I fix these problems?

Thanked 1,047 Times in 389 Posts- the first problem cannot be fixed, it was like this in older firmwares too
- i think (i'm not sure) you can edit the file which contains the stations list on your computer so you can delete that 0.00Mhz

Thanks, if i delete the 0.00mhz from the fm.ini it is still in the list. But I dont care.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI have the exact same issue on my M6, the song slows down and the screen goes crazy with horizontal lines.
But I think it could be technical issue because I have changed the battery (took the and my M6 has got quite a ruff ride on its lifetime. And the reason why I think its techichal (or mechanical?) is that when I snap it with my finger, it helps for a few seconds or longer. But the problem has rendered my player useless,
and I am now trying to fix it. I will re-seat the flat wires and maybe I should try to update the firmware to see f it helps.
