Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsJust a fyi for folks having order problem with album art, I use Tag&Rename to update the tags of my music and never had any problem with the order. I just tested with both flac / mp3 and by selecting the album from artist tab or from album tab the order was correct. I also put an image inside the folder with "ALBUM_NAME.jpg" since unfortunately it can't pick up the covert art from tags natively. But I've never had that bug with track order using Tag&Rename. It may be an issue with how certain programs handle the cover art in the tags?

You don't have embedded cover art... do you?... this is the only problem with order within albums in Meizu players.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsSorry, I think I didn't make it clear. I use Tag&Rename to add embedded album art into the ID3 tags since I also use winamp (which picks them up from tag) and never had issues with album order. What I was trying to say was, folks having issues with the embedded album art might try to use Tag&Rename to see if that fixes their problem seeing how I've never run into it while using it.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWell, I thought the firmware didn't support reading the embedded album art from the ID3 tags? That is why I have the extra "ALBUM_NAME.jpg", so the cover art is displayed both on Meizu ("ALBUM_NAME.jpg") and my PC with winamp (embedded ID3). It is really easy to do both with Tag&Rename, after it has downloaded tag info from amazon (or other sources) you can have it autosave the album cover with album name as the file name.
I can do a quick test tho to see whether it does do the album art at all after I've tagged it with Tag&Rename by removing the "ALBUM_NAME.jpg" file.
ALso, if you'd like Tag&Rename v3.4.0 let me know.

I've done some tests and you are right... with embedded art into ID3v2 tags tagged by programs like "Tag&Rename", "mp3tag", "Abander Tag Control" and "MediaMonkey 3" there is no problem with #track order within album.
"Media Monkey 3" has also the ability to transfer "AlbumName.jpg" into appropriate folder, so there is no need of manual renames or copy. Meizu players don't read embedded cover art then is need to put cover art separately.
The problem seems to be that some program like my "J River Media Center" and WMP10/11 works with different versions of ID3v2, probably ID3v2.04. I don't know which one uses Meizu players. This different version spoils the #track which uses Meizu players.
