Asmo, it's kind of interesting that you don't experience the desynchronization, but I have tried different bitrates, different video codecs, different sample rates, vbr, cbr, different audio codecs, activating and deactivating every single switch that mencoder offers, pretty much everything. hours. days. weeks. The audio gets still offsync after a couple of minutes (at a rate of approx. 1 sec/20 minutes of playback).
Would be nice if you check this issue again and if it still doesn't apply with your player, tell me and the rest of the forum what your secret is.BatMan, the free video converter for Meizu players. Problems ? English First Aid here. Deutsche Erste Hilfe hier.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWord up to BobbyQ, I completely agree!
They also need to build in some protection against incompatible videos.
It happened to me numerous times that I converted a video with Batman and when I played it on my M6 the screen went black and I had to wait till the battery was dead...

stuttering problem
Im glad someone mentioned it..i dont have these stuttering problems ppl talking about and i have my m6 for three months. i currently have 801 songs and i've never heard it. the audio sometimes doesnt sync properly with the video bcuz of the 20 fps. that can be easily bypassed.
I dont see anything wrong with m6.
Take good care of your m6.

now that is funny. Am I know the only one in the whole forum who notices that ? A movie I encoded - with xvid - is 1 second off after 15 minutes of play and immediately reverts to being sync as soon as I press RW. This can be reproduced with my player any time. And please don't try to tell me that this has to do anything with they way I encode movies ... please.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIt's the way you encode movies! :D Nah, just kidding.
I don't know why you're having problems with it. I would definitely notice a second of delay, and there was really no delay at all at 15 minutes. I will send you a new compile of MEncoder when I have the time, so you can test it yourself with my profile.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsTo BobbyQ,
Don't worry man! There are out of sync problems with video. May be some people have a little bit diffrent hardware inside of M6. And there is still a shuttering on my M6! May be a little bit less than on the fw 2003.
I don't believe anymore in a lot of comments here - you know, China has a lot of members.

Anyway, why would I lie, lmao, I don't have any problems mentioned above. The main problem is when you convert SOME videos they won't play on M6.aliens ain't farmers!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsstranded,
I'm not saying that you are lying. I said "a lot of...". This means for sure not everybody. But it is obvious that many members here trying to downsize some ugly problems with the M3 and M6 - especially people who are related in some way to Meizu.
If you are this LUCKY GUY with a well running box - be happy. I'm not!
And... I'm definetly not to stupid to convert mp3 or video.
It would be very kind to accept this too.

Well I'm afraid I am with Stranded on this one.
If you use the correct tools to convert the videos then there are NO synch. problems.
I know that Batman is a very good tool and is very good at video/audio synch, but VirtualDub is that little bit better.
With regards to the stutter at the end of songs, I have only heard it once from an mp3 that was posted on this site by Daremos to demonstrate this problem.
I tried it on other players and found two things, 1, it did not sound anywhere near as good as it did on the M6! 2. There was no stutter.
On further examining the mp3 I found that VU Player and other software displayed corruption at the end of the file, after removing this the mp3 was perfect.
Is it not just a case of how good the M6 is at bringing out the best of any track or the bad bits of poor ones.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsTrying to attack people? The M6 has serious issues, of which the must irritating are on the video level for me. Some problems are however highly exaggerated. Some people point that out, and then suddenly are affiliated with Meizu? I'm a user of another product (Linux AMD/ATi fglrx drivers) of which the company (at least for a long time) didn't care for support. The best thing to do then is to exchange your experiences surrounding problems, and find solutions yourself. Apparently some people have problems with the a/v sync and others do not. The best thing to do, instead of complaining about it: open a topic, discuss the problem, come to a conclusion and a possible solution.

I have problems when I convert windows media videos. They freeze up. But, I have Adobe Premiere, so all I have to do is turn them into AVI's and there is no problem. I haven't tried Batman, however.
Thanks for the info on the new official firmware.
Is this going to be the last one?
