I feel this question has been answered before but can't seem to find it, so I'll answer again.
Version 1.010 had a size increase of about ~30MB, making room for 1.011. Version 1.011 will have many new features, which is what they are working on at the moment. Most important is the addition of subscription service support and perhaps they will also add OTG support to the firmware. This firmware is a big update, which is why it is taking them so long.
No one knows when 1.011 will be released, unfortunately. I'd say before the end of February. Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI hope its good cause we waited a long time for V1.010 but that didn't have the changes that most of us wanted, although it is paving way for bigger FW updates to come

it's possible if the firmware is buggy and not optimized, however i dont think this upgrate will boost it to 15-16 hours more... 7-10 is more accurate to me :D

Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.
