Open the Firmware and Kill iPOD

I undersatnd that to keep this mp3 player cheap the dvelopment of firmware lacks of testing etc and the firmware has much bugs and transaltions are far from perfect.

What i hate now in latest fimware:

    - crashes(touchpad software problem)
    - translations
    - i dont understand the FM firmware lock

and not firmware related is the video converter it works only for short vids

thnx 4 Loli Video Converter !!!

The open source comunity shold make all this problems disappear

The best option in this situation is keep firmware Open Source...
Thing is the M6 should run some modified linux kernel with nice skinable UI

This topic already exists in more than one place, this being more set on this exact subject. It even says "open source the firmware" in the title and is 9 topics down.

A modest proposal for Meizu: open source the firmware!
