Beta Firmware Release

It's a bit disappointing to see no other 'improvement' than the 'return' option in each menu.
I couldn't find any other changes.

The only thing i can say now is that i'm back to the previouse firmware because i can miss the little button with return on it:P

And I was just hoping that the bug atthe end of some MP3's had been fixed.

Anyone know of anyother changes? Like OTG?

I don't own a external battery... so i don;t now

Hi, I have installed it on my M6 and everthing is working fine, even I change the resources to update it to the skin I like to use.

one thing I noticed is that they changed the positions numbers of the images in the resource.bin from 348-533 it changed to 351-536 and so on, and the text resources were changed too.

Well... the same songs keep skipping at the end, no improved playlisting support, no adjustable sleep timer, no nothing. For now, only a return option in the menus. Very disappointing, to say the least.

Why would they bring a beta if this is the only changes... it's a beta so they expect still faults in it...

Oh, c'mon... This is a non-official beta firmware! No point going on about how this didn't change much. When the final comes out, we'll see what the new features are, but this could as well be a very old 2004 firmware posted just now... Or it could be that Meizu has only released this feature now, to protect the menu buttons asap, although that would be strange

This is exactly what I think, they are just helping us to enlager the M6's life.

My M button is a lot weaker now, and I have to klick on it around 1-3 times to get "back". As this is on my M3, I really hope that they'll release it for the M3 aswell.

I've only had the M6 for like 10 days but already the menu button is sort of, I don't know, uncertain? you know how some buttons when you click them they feel good and sure and let you know you clicked them, and some buttons feel kind of weak and iffy and make you wonder if you've actually clicked them or the click was registered; also, they sort of feel like they're going stop working pretty soon? wellm the M6 buttons are kind of in the second category.
