Hey everyone
I have from few day ago here in the summer got a Dane-Elec Meizu Mini Player, 4 GB, Black, SP Version
But maybe in more cases in this forum, so are there not a FM radio in the European Dane-Elec version of the Miezu. It's hidden in the Main Menu, because of a firmwareversion there don't allow it to be visible.
Dam!
So i don't have it, and that is a little unfair.
Then will I seach for a better firmware, but have only after a little seach inside this forum found a firmware on english with a FM radio.
But a secound important thing is also that I must have a chance to keep the Danish language trough replacing a new firmware.
I have also another general problems with my firmware.- Volume leveling can only go up 35 (should be 40)
- There is no SRS funktion under soundsetting, there are instead a spatializer (wounder if it is the same)
- Bad sound at the moment.
thanks
for a note:
I use now S 2.003.2 (May 2007) from danedigital.comLast edited by MeiVincible; 12-12-2007 at 08:14 AM.

Hvilke høretelefoner bruger du?Last edited by beatmore; 08-03-2007 at 04:32 PM.

Post in English:
We talking about Headphones and bad sound I have with my Meizu right now.
Can someone come up with some tips how to set the soundsetting right up.
I have too much bass i the sound even with middel volume. It´s like the Meizu is overdo it, even whatever I do.Last edited by MeiVincible; 12-12-2007 at 08:18 AM.

Here's a link to the S2.002.3. Not the latest D-E US firmware, but the latest I have a copy of. I'll try to get the 2.003.2 US version from Dane-Elec.
http://ez-files.net/download.php?fil...0def61dd5da939
In the meantime, you can use this one or find another non D-E version elsewhere that supports Dutch.

Thanked 19 Times in 19 PostsGreat firmware "jarmarc" so far! It work great.
Dane-Elec logos, Danish Language, FM-radio, Volume goes now to 40.
But the Spartializer is still there.
Is there someone there can tell more about the diffent of the SRS and the Spartializer? Maybe a place to get a view of how it looks inside the SRS funktion?
I only know the SRS from the danish Gamereactor review on the Internet, where is should be SO fantastic, and on some Youtube videos where the SRS is visible at the menu from there Meizu´s.Last edited by MeiVincible; 12-12-2007 at 08:19 AM.

What is your EQ setting?
I dunno why SRS has been removed, the logo is stil on the homepage, but for some reason they replaced it with the spatialiser.
Don't use the spatialiser, and since SRS was removed in firmware 1.007, or something like that, just before the SP version of the player was released, so I have not been able to try it.Last edited by beatmore; 08-03-2007 at 09:05 PM. Reason: forgot link... DOH

Thanked 19 Times in 19 PostsGreat link "beatmore" or - det var lige det der manglede.
I can also say I have a set of a Sony MDR-EX71SL, but I´m beginning the sell them to my little sister, since I don´t like the sound they give to me . The treble are not well-balanced and it´s like the voices getting a "ssss" sound all the time I use them!
If someone can find more about soundsettings on the net, so let me know!
Also good the hear the SRS and the spartializer are indentical, for so will I not seeking after it anymore, if I can´t get my Meizu better of it.
I also don´t like spartializer when it on, but at the moment, my sound isn´t
perfect yet, it still getting worsening sound at ca. 35 volume.
I would good have the sound don´t changing when set the vulume to maximum. (if you understand)
But I will now try to eksperiment to set the sound right up with the samples I got from beatmore to see if it what it take to fix the rest of the bad sound.Last edited by MeiVincible; 10-06-2007 at 10:36 PM. Reason: update

Good, I’m now nearly finished with my EQ settings, so sorry for the little sidestep of the theme.
But it was also important because when I was learning my miniplayer I have now founded new small problems with my firmware!
First, the Danish language is full of errors and wrong spelling, which is a little sad for a so good miniplayer. The English don’t missing something, but a person like me, notice such things.
I think I can live with it, but I don’t think it can be different anytime.
Second, not only the one, I have also that "MP3 End Problem" where the player repeats the last seconds of the song, especially with VBR files.
(Rewind or fast forward is also a bad experience.)
Third, also with VBR files, the Meizu don’t show under file information while playing, the MP3-file is a VBR file. (I have see on Youtube it have possibility to show it.)
I have read around here, at have understood this should be some kind of "bugs" who not have been fixed yet.
Can someone get me right in that?Last edited by MeiVincible; 10-27-2007 at 07:14 PM.

Thanked 19 Times in 19 PostsMany members say also now to me I shall upgrade my firmware to the newest 2003.2
I have tried twice a combination the to installations files from to different websites to get a working 2003.2 with Danish Language, but have only got errors and a green screen.
Do anybody now a good mix?Last edited by MeiVincible; 08-11-2007 at 09:17 PM.

It is fairly easy to make a translation, but I belive you would have to do it with every resource file you install (I belive that languages a bound to the same file as the skins)
Soon we will have to get a danish section on the site.
Though it should be fairly simple to make a program that converts the language, there have been talks about adding it to skinconverter, but Thusti is a busy man...

All you need is resource editor, and to know that the languages showing op on the player is lang1 lang2 and lang6 (in the original firmware)
On the dane-elec firmware witch has more languages other language numbers apply.

(Sorry beatmore, but this do I not understand a thing of this.
I need to know more about how this is going to work.)
