I'm a newbie. Hope I can get out of the slump soon but yea. I got the player today from buy.com The serial is DAM404MZ2 46gb meizu. Is this a TP or SP. I assume SP but I wanted to be sure before a make a newbie update mistake. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated. Ok thanks. Also does anyone know if the Dane Elec players have up to date firmware? I want to change firmware, but just wanted to know.

I think you have a dane-elec version, which means you if you want to have more features on your m6 (like radio) then you would have to upgrade to an SP firmware. (or you can upgrade to the dane-elec firmware).

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI've got a Dane Elec version too, but my serial starts with "M6SP"... And I just uploaded the firmware on http://en.meizu.com and it worked fine.
