When is FW 2.00.4 gonna be released?

Can anyone tell me when the new firmware is gonna be released?

When its ready I assume.

If you go by the rumours on Meizu BBS not until August.

Although it is not confirmed a recent post shows a picture of OTG in action and there is speculation that APE support has also been added.

What is OTG?

OTG = USB On The Go , or USB host mode, where device act like PC to read data from USB drive or camera , for file storage

ape support would really rock. that'd seal the deal for me. =)

ape is unlikely to come since it needs high decoding time. why don't you just batch-transcode your .ape files to .flac ? the difference is only marginal.

I don't belive i gets OTG because OTG also need some hardware... if they realy want to put it in the player we already have ik!

Hmm i hope there will be no need for external battery in final version.

I hope they fixed the playback features. Instead of adding APE and such, how about fixing the VBR playback issues?

Echoing what Audio.One says. Please please please, first and foremost, fix the MP3 end of song issues. It's supposed to be an MP3 player!

Yes, cool. But I bet that whenever you unplug it, the wonderful firmware will go on regenerating the muuuuuuuuusic library....

More and more stuff every day, while the basic functionality goes on being crap, that's what I have seen for more than a year so I don't expect Meizu to change....
