If you go by the rumours on Meizu BBS not until August.
Although it is not confirmed a recent post shows a picture of OTG in action and there is speculation that APE support has also been added.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWell, that would be cool, if you could manage M6 without a computer, I mean read and store data from an external HDD to M6.

ape is unlikely to come since it needs high decoding time. why don't you just batch-transcode your .ape files to .flac ? the difference is only marginal.

Few more pictures of OTG in this post on Meizu BBS. Test firmware version is 3.001.2 reported as being very unstable.
More indication of APE and mention of CUE support in Chinese text at bottom. Perhaps someone can give us a full translation.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI hope they fixed the playback features. Instead of adding APE and such, how about fixing the VBR playback issues?

Echoing what Audio. One says. Please please please, first and foremost, fix the MP3 end of song issues. It's supposed to be an MP3 player!

Yes, cool. But I bet that whenever you unplug it, the wonderful firmware will go on regenerating the muuuuuuuuusic library....
More and more stuff every day, while the basic functionality goes on being crap, that's what I have seen for more than a year so I don't expect Meizu to change....
