why oh why is the video interface so different from the audio????

if the video were like the audio:
tap up/brush up = increase volume
tap down/brush down = decrease volume
m = go back into menu
enter = display (or play/pause would work)

the M6 would be soooooooooooooooo much better! why, after so many firmware updates is the video interface still so weird??????

I think the controls are different because when you leave the video playing screen there is no way to continue watching or resume the video.
