Not showing up in windows & white screen error

I tried updating my firmware for my m6. I don't know what happened but I got the white screen problem. I downloaded DFU tools and installed it etc however the problem is that the player isn't showing up in windows and I can't turn it off at all. What do I need to do, and does it matter which fw I use to reformat etc. Thanks.

    Hey,

While I have not been successful, perhaps you will be:

1.) It does matter which firmware you use. Make sure you use the T series with a TP, and the S series with the SP. Don't use any of the older firmwares that were made for the first batch of Miniplayers because those were specifically for the T series.

2.) Hold the Enter button down for twenty seconds. This should turn off your miniplayer.

3.) Do a search on the boards for a link about how to detect your miniplayer as a DFU device. You must first have the drivers installed to do so. Make sure you hold BOTH the power and Menu Keys TOGETHER when plugging it into your computer. Do NOT let go.

I had the same white screen problem 2 days ago and not player showing up in windows (Dead in the water)- It was my error though - I accidentially upgraded with the T version of the firware instead of the S(It actually worked for a few hours though).

You will have to go the DFU route as outlined many times before (Just search for DFU tool and you will get step by step instructions - You must follow the directions exactly when it comes to holding the play/power and menu buttons through the whole process for it to work, and for windows to see your device).

It got me back up and running

In the process or reformatting with dfu tools I get to the point where I have to point to the location of the drivers. I already put the newest 2.03 or whatever they are drivers in the c/program files/meizu/dfutools directory and when I point to that directory to update the driver it says it isn't located there. I don't know what to do.
