ATTN: Loading...... w/ Enumerating in DFU Tools.. FIXED!

I have experienced problems fixing a stuck Loading...... screen.

I realized that the problem is the bundled .DFU image that comes with DFU Tools. It may be preconfigured for older Firmwares.

In any event. For those who have tried everything... all key combos and prayers and the ever annoying DFU Tools status saying "Enumerating"

    I have you solution..

NOTE: You will need to reformat... Unfortunately.

    1. Locate the firmware T/S 1.009

    2. Proceed with DFU Tools
    2.1 Press M+Power/Play

    3. Install DFU Drivers (Located in DFU install folder)
3.1 Take a break... fingers start to hurt for a while.

    4. Copy the M6.EBN file into your installed DFU Tools folder

    5. Press M+Power/Play (HOLD UNTIL THIS IS ALL DONE)

    6. Launch DFU Tools (still holding the buttons i hope)

    7. press Download.

You are done when the status is blank.... and Close is available.

    Have fun.:D

so this basically means its advisable to use old firmware to with the DFU tools and then upgrade back (if you want) to the new firmware?

If you suffer from the "Enumerating" message in the status field.

This is how i revived my forever-thought-lost m6.

Again, I believe the problem is with that .DFU file that it uses as Image #1

Was just rethinking this... the DFU file that is bundled with DFU Tools for me is SST39VF800.dfu.

Perhaps we should run some tests and see which firmwares work with this.. Apparently for me 2003.2 and 2002.3 do not work with this DFU.

I went as far back as S 1.009 for the first try and it worked.

So so far i have SST39VF800.dfu working with

If anyone has successfully used it with later firmwares please reply your experience.

I have successfully used DFU to get my player back into working condition with firmware 2.003.2. However, it took 27 tries before it actually stopped enumerating and displaying error messages.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

For those who return players to me for stuck "Loading..."
screens, I use the DFU with S1.009 and then upgrade the firmware. Simple, quick, and works most every time.

I'll keep this in mind if I have any issues with my Meizu that I just ordered.

EDIT: correction -- ordered = received

I don't know how many times I have tried to use DFU tools, with I don't know how many firmwares (I think I have tried everything back to 1.006). I still get that annoying Enumerating message.

Problem is in USB2.0. If you can, disable USB2.0 in BIOS and no problems anymore

I would have to disagree. I loaded up a old computer that i had laying around with legacy ports. And it failed to enumerating. So now i can use USB1/2.0 with older firmware and DFU Tools.

dmort: Use older firmwares when recovering your meizu. Its already hose... saving your music on there is one thing. Recovering meizu to operable state is another.

Alas, I got a 'Failed to reenumerate the device' error. At least it is SOMETHING more. My other computer still didn't give an error when I disabled Enhanced USB or whatever it was called on that.

My Meizu was dead n followed the process recovering using DFU tool.

I used the DFU tool and the S1.009 firmware. Downloaded successfully, however after completing the process of downloading. tried to turn on the player. Got the same flash blinking for a faction of sec.
