    USE SEARCH!!!

    after u put the M6.EBN and resource.bin into the root, turn player off, turn player on, plug player back into computer, place resource.bin file ONLY into the root, and then restart miniplayer.

    zzzz what kind of question is that

    If you bought your miniplayer sometime within 6 to 8 months, 95% chance you have an SP version. But JUST TO MAKE SURE, look at the back of your miniplayer... it says it there. = ="

    @Lukyluke: Right above the SN number you will find your player verson.
    @Iversionjack: Don't be so harsh to new members, they have no idea to use search, they are probably so shocked that their players malfunctioned and just want to get it fixed ASAP.

    @Everyone else, first check to see what version your player is. Then search for DFU Tools and make sure to download the right firmware for your version. And Please Please Please follow the directions exactly. If you do not, your player will fet less damage from you putting it in a washing machine than if you screw DFU up. Also make absoloutly sure to keep the power and M buttons held very tight, Do not let them go!

    Good Luck.
    If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

    @Lukyluke

    Please find out what model yours is. The info you gave does not help at all towards helping me determine what your model is. As I have already said before, look at what is written the space above your SN number on the back of your player.

    Only then can you use DFU Tools. You probably installed the wrong firmware, which is what made the thing crap out in the first place. You have to be very careful installing firmware, and plus in this case, the phrase "Don't fix it if it ain't broke" certainly applies to Meizu players at this stage.
