Ok, this has been just weird. Ive had my player for a little over 4 months and it has been good to me. So get this. This afternoon, I pick it up and turn it on, and I get a message inf ront of a purple screen stating "formatting, please wait" or something of the sorts. So I do. Next, I get a bright lime green screen with a message stating "No Resource! Please upgrade Resource" or something simular. It was out of the blue, for no reason. I used the player yesterday and it worked fine. I plug it into the computer and see that all of my music and files are gone. This isnt the bad part. I dowload the latest firmware and even DFU tools. I have done the whole thing where you pres the M and Power button and whatnot and downloaded the file using DFU into the player. Nothing happened. It stopped at "Enumerating". SO, I accidentally let go of the buttons on my third attempt and the program freezes. Now my player wont turn on, no power, no nothing. It is not detected on my computer and I dont know what to do. I dont have the cash right now to buy a new one and I want to get this one fixed. Any ideas? PLEASE help.

woo...havent heard about that
so, you firmed wared it and used dfu tools?
each process is determind by the function, which means:
upgrading warez, doesnt need dfu, but dfu needs a firmware to apply into your player.
since you player said: please upgrade resource, thats what you need to do, but im not sure why out of the blue it said this.
my suggestion is:
try using dfu tools again, properly!!!
but before using the tools, try to do hard or soft reset or try both and then use dfu if the player doesnt come back to life..
im not what enumerating means, but if the process is done, dfu tools should give you an option like: close or end program.
your best bet is to read what others had problems with their player and then try to bring it back to life...

For the future , When it says no resource , Put just resource.bin back onto the player root , This fixes it (The resouse is basically the actual GUI) , Its the skin and i think it contains parts of the Navigation , For example i think if you toutch up , The GUI responds (Incldued into the resouce.bin) To make it more user frienly , Whereas M6.ebn is just the basic bios hardcoded stuff ECT , thats what outpiuts and imputs all the devices and ahdrware to amek ti work together.
