    Firmware downgrade (2.003.2 -> 1.xxx)

    Hi,
i have to sent back my new m6, because it hase a scratch
between the display and the plastic protection plate on it.
After some time of video watching, it turned out that it is really
annoying. The problem is: I have updated the FW from Dane-Elec 1.xxx (i
don´t remember the exact version) to Meizu 2.003.3. Don't know if they care
about that, but maybe it is better to put the originial FW on it again.

Is this possible, and where can i get the old FW?

    thx

    Hey,

Isn't that the firmware he already has? Assuming this is a US player, the original Dane Elec US firmware that came with it is unavailable as a download. Once you've upgraded it's more or less gone. There are some S.1 firmwares out there that are similar, but I don't think Dane Elec US cares if you have upgraded, as it is something that they actively encourage. Why not e-mail them?

    Well, now i am confused...
I have found this file http://www.danedigital.com/UserFiles...010_3_Dane.rar

and it seems to be version 1010. How could it be that
the 2002.3 is the same file as 1010 ?

What makes you think they are the same file? There are two distinct downloads on the site: the one you linked to--s1010_3_Dane.zip--and the upgrade--FW-S2003_2.zip. Unless I'm mistaken, these are non-US firmwares, which lack FM tuner support, lower restricted volume ceiling, and other features discussed elsewhere in the forums.

    Well, then i misunderstood something.
    And you maybe too..
I just wanted to put the old firmware on it again, which was on it
when i received it. It was a non US firmware - so the s1010 must be
    the right version for it.

It's out there. There's this little thing called Google, see. G O O G L E. You put it in your computer, see. And then they send over a little man in a green suit with a black bag and you make him a cup of tea and he will hold your hand and solve all your problems. He will also empty your litter box.

In this case, in-forum search would be better. Google search will probably point here anyway.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!
