The original firmware you can down (from Meizu's website) contains 3 languages, and is considered 'official':

    1. chinese traditional
    2. chinese simplified
    3. english

The other firmwares you see on this site (ones including languages like french, german etc.) were created by people using resource editor, just replacing the english menu with the language of their choice.

However, if you open the resource with resource editor, many languages are displayed (around 10), but only 3 is in use. This may be a hint to future firmware upgrades. Who knows.

There already are German Turkish and English firmwares
There is no firmware that has ALL languages in it

If you ask me thats a waste of space of the precious few Gb you have

just go with english or the one or 2 languages you prefer. Whats the use of having the player in 15 languages you dont understand?

You say that there is not a firmware that handles More than 3 languages????
    Really, are you sure??
    Still sure??

OK I've just downloaded a firmware which had about 6-8 languages!!
The bad side was, that it had no radio function, maybe because I've choosen German language, the big guys don't want germans to listen and record radio.

    however I don't liked it's design, it was default v2003.2 dane-elec firmware.
I wished MONO, DARKDROP and EROS update their skins and make new ones based on this firmware: http://www.divshare.com/download/764578-091

HEY I really tried to make a skin based on EROS myself based on this firmware, but I'd no luck. Maybe It works on you M6? Here's the url: http://www.divshare.com/download/764606-fec

Hurry because this stays online only for ONE WEEK.

Pah!, it's possible to code multilingual firmware, and that's the point.
Maybe I'm just to dumb to update my firmware and caused mixing all languags accidantely, lol, I don't believe

You should use the attachments function within MeizuMe... it's better, and doesn't get deleted after time.

nope we didn't say the max is 3 languages... just that no firmware supports every language as that's impossible and useless...
unless youw ant to learn the word "music" and "video" in 26 languages

    CRAP^^

DID YOU know that there are people who don't know chinese or english??
I know english, but I hate to read english menus when I live in germany!
That fuckin matters..sorry but you're missing the pooint!

I don't want to install a new firmware only to support german menus, I want a firmware with all languages enabled, why the fuck hide the languages feature if you have already translated it to different languages????
    damn it.

By the way, I know more then 3languages...
English, German, Turkish, Spanish, Latin and French

ive raised this issue before, but there seemed to be limited interest from the forum. I also included this in my post for the next firmwares wishlist:

languages should be loaded from txt files, not the resource bin. then everyone can very easily update their meizu (any firmware) to whatever language they like to use.

new firmwares would need some updates to the text, sure, but its better than we have right now.

p.s. ive talked to meizu in the past, and their official stance seemed to be that the resource.bin cant be edited (not true) and nobody in the world uses "skins" for the M6 (not true), they are a bit behind on the community tools available now, maybe I should have explained it to them better
