I got my Dane-Elec M6 and immediately upgraded to the Meizu S2.002.3 firmware. However, playlist support is painfully slow. I created a playlist of 70 some songs and it takes over 5 seconds to start playing after I select the song. The player acts like it is frozen up and wont respond to any buttons until after the song starts playing. The weird thing is the My Playlist (on-the-go playlists) doesn't have this problem. The selected song plays in about half a second, no matter how big the playlist is (even if my whole library is added to the playlist).
I was hoping perhaps downgrading to an older version or upgrading to a newer version would fix this issue. Does anyone know if any other firmware versions dont exhibit this problem?
Another thing I noticed is that you can't add a playlist to My Playlist. Is this something that is in the works?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI just got my 8gb M6 one week ago and I just noticed this problem. You're absolutely right -it takes no time to load My Playlist but once a playlist has been saved it can take 5-10 seconds to load depending on length. Kind of annoying...
Honestly, it's not a big deal for me because I don't use playlists very frequently. On a related note, I like to play music through Browswer rather than through Music because searching through folders (arranged by Artist) is much easier for me than searching under Music-Artist because this tends to show individual track artists, greatly increasing the number of artists I have to scroll through.
I hope the next firmware fixes the playlist problem.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI never see the need to use playlists on pc or in player. I just listen randomly all the time or want to focus on one artist can play just that artist. Just seems too much trouble to me to setup a playlist when I just want to listen to my music.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsSee, I agree with you, but I usually listen to my music by genre. Since the M6 doesn't support genres, I figured I would get around it by manually building playlists of a certain genre (pretty easy in winamp, etc). However, the playlist support is just so slow that theres really no way to just listen to your music unless you like selecting a new artist/song every 5 seconds...
