I miss manual Update Music Library!!!

miniPlayer automatic Music Library update is really silly (not to say stupid).

It updates even when you just copy a picture, video, o text file. Or if you just connect to refuel the battery....

and for many people, it updates randomly simple at a normal switch on, or even always at switch on!!!

Sincerely, I miss the old manual update menu option!!

I also get annoyed now and then when the player takes ages to update while i didnt ad any new stuff to it
and even if i did...does it really have to rescan all the old files too?

manual update was easier... even betterw ould be an instant update so its automatic yet doesnt need to be waited for...

You know what I mean, dude; The manual update menu option now is useless, you NEVER have to use it, and I wish you had to....

Hope they remove that brain-less automatic update, or as a minimum, give the option to disable such a crap.

I like the automatic update function in fact, because I always forget to 'update music library' myself, and then I go "where's all my songs gone to?" then i realise i have to update. That's annoying.

I also do like automatic updates... when I add new music... only then.

But the player is too stupid to realize that sometimes (or many times) you do not add music at all.

With a 8GB Meizu, the automatic music lib update whenever you refill the battery or add a new video is hell.

Oh that's right... I didn't consider your M6 capacity... yeah, mine is a 2GB so it's alright... should be pretty bad for you... I understand now..!

they really should consider letting users choose when to auto update the library. for example, once you unplug the usb, you'll be asked whether to update or not. seems easy enough to do, right?

I've just noticed a funny thing about the (apparently) random update at startup : if you try to switch on the Miniplayer while lock is on, then at the next startup, an update will be triggered...

I agree... Main Menu -> Music -> Automatic Music Library Update -> On/Off

or in

Main Menu -> Settings -> Auto Update Music Library -> On/Off

ya..it's starting to get up my nerves as well

whenever i finish transferring stuff from my friends comp or after a quick refuel it does the update

c'mon meizu, please change it in the next firmware update

This is why I never switched to version 2 firmware...

I have my M6 just a week, and one of the few things I dont like is the automatic update ... would be nice for the next firmware version to change this!

I've the 8gb M6 for a week as well.

It updates everytime I turn it on. That's annoying...
