Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsalbum sort by track number
When i go into music albums to select the album to play, I found out that certain albums in my players are sorted in Track numbers and some by the Song title.
All of my MP3 songs are already with track numbers in it.
Does anyone have the answer to resolve this issue?
I prefer to listen the my album sorted by track number.

It means those sorted by song title have improper tags. What software have you tagged them in?
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

And the songs that sort properly and those that do not, are they ripped using the same settings?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYeap, they were ripped using different settings.
The difference is only the bit rate.
Those which are correct were ripped at 192kbps, those that has error happened to be 256kbps.

you have to fix the tags for every song (v 1.1 tags only)

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThat was already what I've selected as the setting in my M6.
Can you pls advise how I can clean up the tags easily?
Is there a setting in WMP11 to do this? or can set as V1.1 before ripping?
I understand that there is a clean up setting in Mediamonkey for ID3Tag V2.
Tools -> Advanced Tag Management -> clean ID3V2 Tags...
Now trying...

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI use one of two programs to assign ID3 tags for albums. The first is better for older albums as they are more likely to be in the CDDb database-(internet query). It's very simple and a small download. I use this one first, because if it finds the album then it means you've got all the songs and they are in correct order.

The second I use for anything that Cddb MP3 Tool doesn't find in online database. You have to create a folder for artist, then make a subfolder for album and THEN make ID3 tags.
The program is Tagscanner. When no ID3 tags exist I make them all at once by using this setting in Tagscanner: Tag Processor-Settings-(for Title, Artist, Album) I use these settings (&F,&U,&D) to use filename,upper-directory,directory to assign tags.
This program takes a little time to learn, but it's a good investment if you have a lot of albums to assign tags to. (I've got about 5-6,000).
