re : update the s2.002.3 to more workable firmware ?

my sp is equipped with s2.003.2 out of the box
is there a more workable version to update to or it is fine to stick with
best

there is a dane elec version of 2.002.3 with radio and no vlume limit , dane-elec US version firmwarae , you keep your waarranty ect if you use it

I just got an m6/sp with FW 1.x a few days ago. I d/l FW 2.002.3 from Dane-Elec (for US M6) and also got FW 2.002.3 from Meizu. They have different file sizes.

When I first upgraded to the D-E version, I lost the FM tuner and got the locked volume. So I tried the Meizu (smaller file size) and regained the FM tuner and full volume control.

Are you saying that my warranty is void by installing the Meizu firmware?

Which is the firmware most people use? I mean 'best' is subjective, so what is the one most recommended and why?

I believe that I've read on this forum that using the Meizu firmware on the Dane Elec does NOT void the warantee.

I certainly hope that's the case. I can't imagine using Meizu's FW could/would void the US warranty.

I just received my M6 today from China.
It has the 2002.3 firmware from factory.
I find Ok.
Are there noticeable features if I upgrade to 2003.2 firmware from this forums ?

Changelog

1. Support for GIF animations.
2. Eliminated noise caused by corrupted MP3 files.
3. Fixed some FLAC playback issues.
4. When browsing songs or reading ebooks, can use the Previous/Next key to jump to the beginning/Middle/End
5. When reading ebooks, it's now possible to scroll line by line.
6. When updating database, now displays a progress bar and the filenames.
7. Changed the icon that appears when loading a video.

It's reported by ErrOr, personnally i still use V2.002.3 firmware !

Minor bug fixes, worth upgrading.

I will stand with 2002.3 until there are major features in next upcoming releases 2003.x releases.
