golles: Thats a really long song title, try shortening the name I think I read somewhere that there is a limit to the number of characters that can be used, not sure.

lite: Artiest which is shown is not English, and horrid has 2 r's

I have 2 files (from the same album) witch are both longer:
Fall Out Boy - Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying (Do Your Part To Save The Scene And Stop Going To Shows.mp3
Fall Out Boy - I've Got A Dark Alley And A Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song).mp3

    and those are displayed correct

You could try re-encoding the track or running it through a repair program.

There are more ID3 tags. You have more versions: ID3v1 and ID3v2. It can be that your player shows ID3v1 and Windows shows the ID3v2 version (or the other way around). Try to download a program that shows bots ID3 tags.

golles , use this forum correctly , you cant do a post on problems with your album art , then when you rearlise the problem you try and close the thread and not tell everyone else what your problem was and then change the topic of this thread to somthing totally differnt...

You should try foobar2000. In the utils section, when you right-click a song, you can rebuild an mp3 file. It doesn't re-encode, so there's no quality loss. All it does is take the audio data, rewrites it to your harddisk and ads proper tags on it. Sometimes mp3s can get corrupted by using non-standard compliant software that writes strange ID3 tags. foobar2000 has saved me many headaches.

Also in foobar2000, if you go into the tagging section of the right-click menu of one or more songs, you can choose to rewrite the tags of a file. I've set foobar2000 to only write ID3v2 tags, and nothing else. Sometimes the ID3v1 and ID3v2 of a file contain different information. That might also be a reason for the problem you're having.

I must concur with others: don't change threads and topics at random. New problem == new thread!
