    Search within a track, up and down, what's the logic?

    Just wondering if someone can explain....

    When you want your volume louder you drag to the top of the keypad or you tab and hold on the top.

    Louder = up
    Softer = down

    Now I want to fast forward within a track, I enter until the blue diamond shows and I can navigate using up and down. I would guess that moving further in a track is up and moving back is down:

    further (fast forward) = up
    back (fast backward) = down

    sounds logic, not? Well I guess this a cultural difference because the Meizu is programmed just the other way around:

    further (fast forward) = down
    back (fast backward) = up

    Can someone explain this logic?

    That's simple (hum) : the beginning is at the top, the end at the bottom.

    It is this way that you read a text ; the first item of the menu is the top one, and so on.

    The thing that is confusing is that the volume/progress bar is horizontal, and the touchpad vertical. Here is the logic :
    Horizontally, left = before and right = after ; and left = less and right = more
    Vertically, top = before and bottom = after ; but top = more and bottom = less.

    So we finally end up in one case with left=top and right=bottom,
    and in the other case left=bottom and right=top.

    Mmmmmh pretty confusing indeed

    PS : Congrats to whoever understands everything I say ^_^

    Good explaination lOtR, I just wish they would fix the video controls to match the audio controls, so the user interface is consistent.
