    Adobe Flash Lite

While aimlessly surfing the web last week, I came across something that I found rather interesting.

It seems that Adobe has worked and is working together with manufacturers of portable platforms to bring Flash support to millions of small electronics, from cellphones, to PDAs, to, yes, MP3 players and PMPs.

A bit of explanation about all of this can be found at Adobe's site.

I must say that I'm rather enchanted by some of this. I know it's been said (by many, including myself) that it would be nice if Meizu stopped rolling out new features until they work out some of the most annoying bugs.

However, it would also be nice if my Miniplayer would support Flash up to some level. I'm thinking mainly of .flv, the video file format used by YouTube and (many) other video websites. Downloading the video off those sites is trivial. The short content of most of these clips would, I believe, provide a very entertaining source of video for any Miniplayer.

Anyway... there will of course be licensing issues (money must change hands, I'm sure), so this is perhaps just another pipe dream.

You can file this one under "Wouldn't it be nice if...?"

The iriver e10 and iriver clix2 apparently support flash. Would certainly be one of the more interesting additions to any mp3 player.

Yeah, flash is good. If you could install flash on M6, a lot of new functions can be used - new games, new files to be viewed...

Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.
