Found this in other topic;

- new default background
- apparently, no more hissing sound, but volume has decreased (ie new volume 10 sounds like old volume 8 or something).

Can someone confirm hissing is gone?

hm I'm just updating. I'm not sure what's happening right now. It froze at the "miniplayer" screen. Maybe It's formatting?

Edit: Okay, I had an upgrade error. I guess we have to update twice again.
It works now and the first thing you see is a bar for the library update, which shows the current song. The default wallpaper is changed as well.
Another thing is that there is no more sand glass, but an animated circle before you see a video. Pretty nice.

LOL I believe I said that in the other forum post. But I found this at Meizu BBS when the 2.003.1 isn't out :D

Nope guys, comfirmed, there is still hissing.

Reference earbuds: Audio Technica CM7Ti

Also that annoying resume playback glitch is still there where when your stop and resume your music it would play the beginning of the song for one second then skip to where you were previously.

There was no noticeable difference in volume. (I always use volume 5 for my earbuds and it appears to have the same loudness as that in 2002.3)

Although it isnt the official release, so we can still keep our hopes up. =P

OK I just updated to new firmware, and NO FORMAT WAS REQUIRED

Changes found:

- When you unplug from computer, the upgrade music library screen is different - new progress bar, displays all files on miniplayer.
- new background
- GIF FILES WORK!!! but noticed this: when you play the gif file, when when you press the M button to get back to the menu, the first press stops the gif file, 2nd press gets you back to the menu.
- HOWEVER ...... GIF FILES DO NOT MOVE WHEN USED AS BACKGROUND!!!
- for my 2GB miniplayer, the amount of free space went from 1.89GB (v2.002) to 1.85GB (v2.003)
