Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHow can one see what release of 2.003.2 is running on the player? I've been reading about different releases of this 2.003.2 firmware and they all seem to have the same version number.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsAll of the 2.003.2 firmware releases you've been reading about are the same firmware. Each different firmware is given a different name, so if the firmware has the same name as another firmware it's the same firmware (apart from the TP and SP versions).
I've got another problem tho. Whenever I leave my m6 on pause for a minute or so, it turns itself off even though I've set the timer on off (if that makes sense). And whenever I go to turn it back on, I have to push the power button 3 times; first the screen flashes, then it makes the button clicking noise, then it turns on. Does this happen to anyone else?
I'm using S2.003.2 btwLast edited by nicksname; 08-12-2007 at 02:29 AM. Reason: adding info

I got my 8GB M6 yesterday but here are some of the problems i have with it. (Firmware SP 2.003.2)
- When connected to USB source to charge there is a small static hiss coming out of the player. I think it has something to do with the backlight, however if i turn the backlight off the sound is still there...(nothing is plugged into the sound port)
- The video and audio sync problem, do you guys think it has something to do with the player or software? I read a thread regarding that problem but am slightly confused on how to properly encode a video.
Also, really hope they can add a touchpad sensitivity option in the next firmware.
Thanks,

08-22-2007 #150If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.
Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

play any song, then turn off your miniplayer. Turn it on and press play, you'll hear a split second of the beginning of the track then it will jump to the position you were before you turned your player off.
Small glitch really, but it shouldn't do that =PCurrent Rigs:
8GB iAudio 7 > Not in use
4GB + 32GB iAudio D2 > Alessandro MS-Pro
Sony MZ-NH1 > Headroom Total Bithead > Grado Labs PS-1
2GB Meizu M6 T1 > Not in use
8GB iPod Touch 2G > Shure SE530

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI'm not sure if this belongs here but I upgraded my firmware from the Dane Electruc site and it killed the FM radio. How do I get it back or am I returning this? I have version S 2.003.2 on my minplayer. When it was delivered earlier today, the FM radio was fine. I did an update and it's gone.

Funny, the player had the radio until I upgraded at the Dane-Electric Site. Where should I go?

Try the instructions in the FAQ:
Meizu Me - FAQ: Meizu Mini Player M6 FAQ
As for the firmware, you'll want the same version as your player, you can check in the player's Settings-About. Use the 2.004.6 firmware, you can find that in the M6 resources link in my signature. It's the latest good one.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsokay i did everything it said and the green failure screen popped out and i kept doing the "copy over resource bin" thing and it hasn't worked, how do we get back out of the green screen?
oh and uh, when i connect my miniplayer, the only files it bring out are my music file, pic file, record file, system file, video file, and my playlist file. where should i put the update because i don't have a file that says root.Last edited by Dominator619; 08-12-2009 at 02:23 PM.
