Some firmware updates will format the player, so if you get an error on step 7, simply connect the player to the computer and copy over resource.bin again.
I hope i can help you...

I've read that DFU Tool is applied when the MP3 player can't connect to the computer but mine can do it.
    Anyone has another idea?

you can use DFU tools too if the player can connect..
but its meant for when its not recognized as USB device

how about trying to upload an other firmware(older version), making the player stable again and then uploading the new firmware

did you try to format the player connected to your PC and using Windows for formatting? (rightclick on the player, format ... choose FAT32) after that you should be able to put the new firmware on your Miniplayer without any problems

    Problem resolved
    What I've done :
right click on the player > properties > tools > check now > notch the 2 boxes > Start
Then you can install the firmware. :D
I think that should be added to the FAQ.

I don't know if my English is good so sorry if it is not.

No I didn't use DFU tools.
I use the Windows disk Checker. I don't really understand What I've done but it has something to do with this. (click on the "This" lol)
