FF bug in V2.002.3
Any body has experienced a bug in the fast forward/backwards function in M6 TP?
When a song has been playing for a while, if you keep-press left/right to fast-foward/backward a couple of times the M6 behaves randomly, sometimes always forward other always backward, no matter which one of the two you actually selected....
And by the way, it's a shame that after all this time they have not yet tuned the "jump-to" mode: if you press ENTER to get the diamond scrollbar, you move it to minute mm:ss and then the M6 will actually start playing a few seconds ahead/after your selection.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIn response to your comment regarding "jump to" this is not necessarily the fault of Meizu - in the case of VBR files atleast.
Files of constant bitrate are easy to deal with, once the mp3 header data is processed it is merely a few simple calculations and the software can jump to the right location in the file (within the available precision of the hardware - another limitation).
However when the bitrate is changing over time its a less trivial problem - you cant necessarily say that a point in the file will be played at a perticular time, without scanning through the file from the beginning. Depending on the speed the miniplayer reads from its flash memory & the processing capacity / time required it may not be possible for meizu to improve on the current performance, but this is the exact same problem faced by any other VBR mp3 player.
If your comment also applies to constant bitrate files though, then its possible Meizu is at fault. *shrugs*
Hope this makes an informative read at the very leastLast edited by b-w-d; 03-26-2007 at 11:07 AM. Reason: typo
