My experience
M3 T2004.5 official release loaded without incident over December's M3 T2004.5 beta release.
Install retained preferences. It returned to last menu item prior to install.
Music and radio work OK. I don't use video or pictures.
Stored music is mp3 and wma. I haven't experienced stuttering.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI already updated to the newly released 2.004.6 firmware,
I hope they will improve the update library speed, and add the option to update the library automatically everytime u had usb connected...
It is very annoying to have to wait several minutes each time to update the MUSIC library after adding a VIDEO, or any other file on the player...

since upgrading to the 2.0004.5 firmware my plyaer has noticeable high pitch squeeks during playback- it's most annoying.

MEIZU says T2.004.5 supports ze cue file for ze whole ape file...(-_-)support ape/wav files
and in ze way to examine battery of its old version there r some problems, T2.004.5 just changes some firgues..
ze speed of play a music from a playlist is faster..
ze battery provider says when charging, ze environment must be warm...otherwise ze battery cant be charged in a lot...
ze longest playtime is about 10 hours...
still, support display the cover of ablum when playing music(useless feature..)
my english is poor..i just cant express my meanings correctly...but i do understand what ur talkin' about...

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postswell i think this cant be solved in a period of time...
MEIZU says the player reads files in the order of name and then stores the list in a file(u cant find it).
if u have some files to store in m3...just creat a new dir with its name starting with "z"...thus m3 will read them at last...

I think you are wrong...
The M3 doesn't read files in the order of name but in the order of upload.
So, even if you upload a music (over 1792 files) to the M3 with a name starting with "a" or "z", the player will not play this music.
I know that, because in my 'MUSIC' directory, I have created others like 'A-D', 'E-H', 'I-L', etc... And in these sub-directories, I put albums directories.
It means that my WMA albums are stored in alphabetical order (like you say), but it doesn't solve the problem of limited files...

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYes, this is quite an important change for me with this version!
I use MediaMonkey to manage songs (without it, downloaded songs often have differently spelled artist/album names for the same thing, which would cause those to appear in different title under Music menu) with a nice feature to auto-generate playlists during upload.
With the last firmware, starting a playlist took many seconds (!) - now it is instant, as it should.
Even the Music Card switch-on startup seems to be a tad faster (though I'm not sure about it)
Another annoying bug was automatic "Music list update" even if M3 was on the USB port just for charge - in switched off state, so obviously no change could to file list, but still: several minutes long (8G version) list update started after switch on.
Now it is gone with 2004.5.
Stuttering is still an issue, but seems to be a bit shorter.
The only problem I have with this 2004.5 is its Chinese character set: instead of some Hungarian acuted characters, there are now Chinese
I guess it is not the firmware, but the resource file attached to it - but have no clue how to fix it....
