Talking Amazing Site!

Finally found both the mp3 player of my dreams but also the most amazing community i have ever seen of this kind: after i came here and browsed the forums i noticed a new post about a miniplayer that had black screen and first thought oh no, this is a bad warning, but after noticing the faq with the advice, i went back to look at the post, and lo and behold: someone else had already pointed out the help in 3 minutes!!

And then looking at the continous firmware updates to the player i could't believe my eyes, so big changes with software updates like this i thought was impossible to get anywhere, and the way to update seems incredibly easy, i am definately going to get a 8gb model when it comes!

Maybe someone can point out what is the difference between the two models, i suppose i have to get it from america? My sisterinlaw could bring one when she goes there in May, I can't wait for joining the community now

Two models? TP and SP you mean... ok, just the screen and the firmware (there's a different version for each one).

You will find no problem if you get it from US, China or an European store, all are pretty much the same thing, so if you get one with a restricted volume and no radio (Dane-Elec rebranded) just upgrade with a full firmware and you're done.

Welcome, hope you enjoy the site :D

good luck on your purchase! if you opt for the m6, you certainly won't regret it. :D i can't say much about the m3 as it hasn't been released yet. :P

well, community members are generally very helpful if you post your problem. however, it would also be much appreciated if all other means of finding a solution have been exhausted before creating a new thread. by this i mean searching through the forums for previous threads/posts and reading through the faq.

welcome to meizume!

You can't get the TP version anymore, unless some people sell it over the internet. Right now, Meizu only produces the SP models, but they are pretty much the same thing. TP = toshiba ; SP = samsung

There is plenty of places that sell it in Denmark now.
Of cause it is the dane-elec model, but it is the same, except from the disabled radio and the lower sound. And the dane-elec branding on back of the casing, and on the sleeve.

Great that you like it! It is feedback like this that makes me sure that I'm not wasting time and causes me to work harder to improve this site for the future.

And as marcelo1251 pointed the very fact that a software upgrade can enable radio seems to me like magic, ok, now (as i write!!) I hit the otherworld again, trying to enter the archive, this is truly getting scary:
Easy, tiger. This is a 404 page.

You are totally in the wrong place. Do not pass GO; do not collect $200.

ROFL!!!
Whereever did you make this up?? who needs drugs in a place like this? I think i will put up my tent in here for summer, i really dig the atmosphere!!

I've been lurking on this site for several months now. It has given me good insight to the M6.

So, I finally ordered one, and I received it 2 days ago. Because of this site and the MeizuMe blog site, I updated the firmware and reskinned my player that first night with no problems at all!

This is the first place I check every time I get on the web.

I think the M6 is a great player, and this site rocks!
