I'd say, stay in the light color theme. Don't make it all black or something. This is better on the eye.

Why not have user selectable themes to suite the tastes of a wider audience? Some people like dark themes, some like light themes. Some like red, some like blue, some like pink... I think the ability to select from a few, or a wide variety of themes would be nice. Maybe have the ability for users to create themes and submit them to be apart of the choices.

I'd like to see a rating system for posts. Similar to how some people have done, if a post gets rated down the text gets lighter and lighter making it more difficult to read.

Also, on the front page, I'd like to see a static place that has the newly released (official) firmwares for each player. I really dislike having to go into the forums to find the "new" firmware for my player.

Also a gallery section for skins for the different players.

That's all I can think of for now.

i agree. i think there should be a downloads section with subsections such as applications, firmwares, skins etc. if u want to upload a skin, u should go to the skins section and upload it. upon clicking on the skin, u should see the replies and the download button. i like the instant messaging thing with online users so problems can be solved much much faster. i'll think about more stuff and state it soon.

Development is coming along nicely, here's what's coming:

- New design (M8 inspired)
- Skin gallery w/ download
- Firmware database w/ download
- More 'social' - ie. friends system, new profile system
- Better FAQs and stickies (may need help with writing/suggestions)

Great news, i'm looking forward to the skin gallery.

The colours of the new theme should not be too dark.

It would be good if all available applications and programs were stickies (skin viewer, lyrics maker, DFU tools, font import tool, etc.).

Yea a chatroom would be nice, because I can't connect to IRC channels due to my firewall.

Also I would prefer a design thats clean and Professional over something that looks dark and 1337.

Other than that, about advertisements, I don't mind them, but those underline popup ads are really annoying.. perhaps add more banners instead of underline ads?
