What is with all the negative emotion on this site? As someone combing for information, the attitude is what I first pick up on. And it is not just frustration with the state of the firmware - this attitude is directed at other people. I am not saying that people shouldn't disagree but many of the posts are suggesting that people are idiots, lazy, or plain stupid. But go to head-fi.org. People disagree all the time and some times there a flames but mostly they get sorted out between the couple of people that were involved. Here it seems that the goal is to drive them away.

Sure, some people are going to ask a question that is answered in the first post or a sticky post. That is annoying - no doubt about it. Posters are going to suggest something that shows that they are ignorant of what they are talking about it. That's just people - people like that are going to be all around you all your life. How you deal with it will be a measure of your maturity.

Err0r - the responsibility for the tone of the site is placed at your feet. No, you are not responsible for everyone's post or to delete every post that is immature. What you can do is model an attitude where you guide and direct and provide a reasoned response to unreasonable postings. You can make a great difference in redirecting after an inappropriate response. Your site is a great help for English speaking Meizu fans. I look forward to seeing the future of Meizu's upcoming releases.

It would be interesting to see what the more longer-standing members & mods have to say!

Very well put, I haven't seen as much of this negativity yet but I've only been a member for a few days so far. I have found though my posts haven't been acknowledged by anyone, even to just tell my I'm talking rubbish!

In this matter you have to know what is the way an user of electronic devices (PCs, HiFi equipment, MP3, MP4, PMP, etc.) goes changing with the time:

at first, when a device is bought, the user keeps a very humble behaviour, in facts, he is new to the device and is willing to learn.

later, when the user believe that have learn enough of the device, the user realize that this new toy is not so impressive as he think, it has some "bugs", which is rather normal, mostly this is due to the bad manage by the user... still... these are "bugs".

Normally a electronic device is expensive, and the user start to feel that his new gadget doesn't have the value he expected... then it becomes the aggressiveness and the acid tone related with the manufacturer and the "silly" owners that are happy with their machine.

I am the team of the happy user because my experience shows me that an electronic device has to have some bugs. So the firmware and sometimes I don't know how to manage some functions that my several devices has.

What it's seen in this forum is very normal compared with what I've see in a couple more I visit... happens frequently that in this kind of communities for technical devices exists some breed of "wise" men that get mad when a user is happy with the gadget he bought... sort of owners of the truth that will do their best efforts to kill the happy user... ... what is more funny that they take this as a personal challenge...

After some years dealing with them... I suggest the newbies to ignore them and don't waste time paying attention to their ramps... is the best way to enjoy your nice device... it's enough with the natural bugs it has...
