New M8 video |
Nov 20, 2008 - 8:18 PM - by nice2know_u
|
Here's a new video of the Meizu M8 (miniOne) in action, captured by CNMO who probably got the phone from a tester. We can clearly see it has improved a lot since the first video by J. Wong. It runs much faster, very responsive and the UI couldn't be any nicer!
Now just sit tight and wait for the media reviews which is scheduled for sometimes next week.

M8 camera demoed, faced with more delays |

Meizu CEO Jack yesterday released three photos taken with the 3 megapixel Meizu M8 camera, and explained that despite being pressured by the financial department, the final price will not be increased. The 8GB version that will be released first will go for 2580 RMB (approx. $380 USD). See the rest of the photos
In other news, Meizu has not yet received the Mobile Phone Sales License needed to sell phones in China. It is not sure whether or not they will be able to receive it even in October. Source

User Developed Software for Your Meizu |
Apr 23, 2008 - 4:15 PM - by Err0r
|
Here at Meizu Me we have some really talented members developing software to help and improve the experience for the community of Meizu users. As of recent, development has picked up considerably and we see many exciting upcoming releases in line, one of which the highly anticipated Rockbox port for Meizu M6 miniPlayer.
Below are some highlights of software developed by members of Meizu Me worth to check out.- BatMan: A user friendly tool for converting videos for playback on the Meizu M6 miniPlayer and M3 music card. The program is constantly updated and improved upon by our member BobbyQ and is the first choice for video conversion by many Meizu fans.
- SuperMan: A program allowing you to easily, automatically download and configure album art for your songs to be displayed on your Meizu player.
- Font Importer Tool GUI: A very user friendly tool, based on the m6_font_import tool by member Asmo, that allows you to change the font on your Meizu player.
- MeizuCenter: Still in its early (Alpha) stages, MeizuCenter is already looking like a good manager for Meizu players handling everything from file management to the handling of saved radio stations. This is definitely a program to keep an eye on.
If you are developing software for Meizu players, don't hesitate to use our Community Development forums for support and feedback from the community!
