Hello, why we cant usa a GD image as avatar?

It is an image - it's a PNG image output by PHP using the GD library. Unfortunately, when you upload an image to a forum such as this one, the image cannot be dynamically updated by a PHP script as yours is.

But when you dont upload it, but directly from the site it will work.
