Not sure if this has been suggested before, but what about a sub-forum for all us owners of older Meizu players? I know, we're just Neanderthals compared with all you über-hip M6 and M3 owners, but we have feelings too...

In china itself I am sure they have some webpages for it...

I have owned a Meizu E2 for two years. It gets used nearly every day and works well. And unlike my M6 it doesn't hiss, so I'm happy with it.
If you having problems then Ice-Orange at the official Meizu site is very helpful.

Good idea, consider it done.

No problems, just thought that if this forum aims to be comprehensive, carving out a little real estate for "Other Meizu Players" would be nice.

Meizu fans in Sweden were getting a lot of the earlier Meizu models and before it was shut down, the Meizu Scandinavia forum was a pretty active and enthusiastic place...with the help of some machine translation websites I tracked down (no Swedish in my vocab), I even learned some stuff about my E3c (dealing with the FM.ini, especially).

Blatant plug: I think the review I did last year for DAPreview is the only comprehensive one in English for the E3c out there. It's here: http://www.dapreview.net/e107_plugin...hp?content.274 if anyone's interested. Notice how fast prices have dropped: you can buy a 4GB Miniplayer in China for what I paid for my 1GB E3c...a little more than a year ago:eek: !

It's done: http://www.meizume.com/forumdisplay.php?f=50

Let's just hope that sub-forum gets used now.

Well, it's been 3 days now, and not a single post...

I guess there's not a lot going on with the owners of pre-M-Series MEIZU players.

That's a really well-written review actually! Really informative and down-to-earth, and yet quite funny. Have you done this before? You should probably do it again either way .

EDIT: Dang, I just saw in another comment that you took the photos as well. Those are really good too! Kudos!

Thanks, member...if I win that M3 in the photo contest, I'll be sure to do something similar for this site (hint, hint...:D ). The E3c was really Meizu's first photogenic player, so it lends itself to some creative shooting. I'm still happy with the E3c and have long been thinking whether to buy another flash-based, (relatively) low-capacity player or go with a huge HDD player to act as a repository for my entire music collection...but that's another story.

A belated thanks too for starting up the new section; I'll try to add some inspired content when I can.

One minor detail: actually "pre M-series" isn't quite correct; two of the earliest Meizu players were the Me and Mi...granted, not alphanumeric, but still early use of the M nomenclature. Perhaps to be completely PC, we should define them as "Legacy Players". :P
