MeizuCenter - A manager for meizu players

MeizuCenter is now again in its Alpha state BUT I improved EVERYTHING what I devloped.
The Alpha 1 has now a "helper". It's a program that rememberes if MeizuCenter crashes.
Then the overview about the free space etc. improved - now you can rename your Meizu and you can change or delete the icon.
Another thing: Meizucenter detectes if there's no device plugged.

Screenshots:

Main window #1

Main window #2

"Name of current device..." window

"Choose a language" window

"MeizuCenter is already running" window

Download: Attachment

-------------

ToDo list: (11-09-2008)
- Port MeizuCenter to the new GUI (in progress (~70%))
- Improve and optimize the source code (in progress (~40%))
-
Add a music converter
-- * to MP3 -> LAME
-- * to OGG Vorbis -> Ogg Vorbis Interop Library
-- * to WMA -> DirectShow
- Add support for other videoportals (video downloader)
- Add a guide how to install a new firmware/skin/...

The basic features I'm going to implement:
- direct video download by Youtube
- organize music, download and implement album art directly
- show images at the Meizu, download wallpapers (using database)
- download and install firmware skins for your Meizu
- organize fm tuner channels

I hope I've enough skillings for that. :D

Make it open source and ditch .net . One of the biggest advantages of Meizu players is that they support ogg and drag and drop file transfer which mean they work great with linux. You could've pick one of the portable libraries like Qt or GTK+ to write an app that would work on any OS.

i suggest a id3v2 -> id3v1 tag converter that supports unicode.
the m6 doesn't open id3v2 properly..

and my itunes stores the id3v2 tags properly.

so a id3v2 -> id3v1 tag converter would be great.

In welcher Sprache schreibst du das? Ich bin sicher einige würden dir helfen! (Ich zum Bleistift)

Das Programm ist ganz schön klein für das, was es kann :-O

The Image Tab should work, too. Read his post and you'll understand why

@stranded: What about the tab named 'Pictures'?

@puffel: Es existiert ein Thema im deutschen Forum
Das Programm ist in .NET C# geschrieben.

If your going to have automatic album art, you could have an option for the reflective album art code.

If you can't implement the existing code, you'll have to right a new one. This option would be nice, though.

You mean write, right?

Quite funny indeed. So common to confuse them in my country, too.
