    At the moment I create a new GUI for the program and overwork the music browser (it has many bugs to fix).

    Actually it looks so:

    I removed the tab bar and the menu bar to produce more space for the content.
    Instead of them there's now a function bar. Right are the icons of every function. When your mouse pointer is over an icon at the left side appears a text with the name of the function.
    When your pointer is'nt over any icon at the text stand's the currently active function.
    And here's a screenshot with a comparison with the old (left) and the new GUI (right):

    Again some pictures.

    The new GUI (left) and the old GUI (right) of the Meizucenter:

    And the new GUI looks also good on XP (right):

    I'm sorry, but I don't understand the point of this project. We already have Windows Explorer for file management and Windows Media Player for syncing... Why do we need an alternative program that does the exact same thing?

    EDIT: Ah... I read about the video downloader, that thing seems handy to people who have no idea how to download videos.

    I create the music explorer because it is specific to music and not like the windows explorer for any file.
    And not everyone has got Vista which has already an integrated tag editor at the explorer etc.

    as I mentioned before, MeizuCenter yet lacks a "killer application", and though it looks promising from its design, people do not understand where the benefits are. This will (hopefully) change when it is feature complete. I hope that it will become the one-download solution for everything a Meizu owner needs, and will be especially useful for newbies.
    So, FDX, I really appreciate your work in this project, and I keep my fingers crossed that you will finish it before M6 becomes outfashioned. But you really should reconsider your goals. Playing back the media and moving it to the player is just nothing the girls would go crazy about

    The ToDo list at the first page was the old one, I forgot to refresh it, sorry^^

    Here's the new list:
    - Port MeizuCenter to the new GUI (in progress (~70%))
    - Improve and optimize the source code (in progress (~40%))
    -
    Add a music converter
    -- * to MP3 -> LAME
    -- * to OGG Vorbis -> Ogg Vorbis Interop Library
    -- * to WMA -> DirectShow
    - Add support for other videoportals (video downloader)
    - Add a guide how to install a new firmware/skin/...

    The converter is going to be the hardest part if you want to do it on your own; try getting a converter's source code and implement it into your program. Then just credit the creator.

    It took long but now there's a new build I want to present.

    First of all: I began to translate MeizuCenter into English, but only the messages. The main language is still German (that is better for development, otherwise I have to code everything twice )
    Some screenshots of the english messages:

    Please send me a PN if there are some grammatical errors or if I use wrong vocab.

    And now, in the screenshots you can see it yet, you can use MeizuCenter without a device connected to the computer (that's the so-called 'Offline Mode').

    English is fine, keep up the good work! Will the MeizuCenter be compatible for the M8? That would actually be a goal to think of, since the M6 is quite old now. Basically, I'm guessing that it's the same method of transferring media as the M6.

    I hope I can make it compaible with the M8 but I think it's not hard to do.
    The most important thing I need is the folder structure of the M8 and which files are in every folder. The rest is adjusting some codes here and there

    I finished the English translation
    http://www.file-upload.net/en/downlo...12.08.rar.html
    I know, here aren't many things you can do with it but I haven't finished the other categories yet and I don't want to translate them before I'm ready with them.

    edit: There was a bug in the overview. I currected it now, please download again.

    The music broser is dead now
    Instead of that it is now a playlist editor - you can create playlists, edit them and export them as a normal m3u playlist or as a meizu compatible playlist.
    If you export a playlist as a meizu compatible one, it will be automatically safed into the PLAYLISTS folder. If the foldern doesn't exists, you can amnually safe it somewhere.

    And now you can manage your music offline. MeizuCenter asks on startup whether you want to create a copy of the music folder and if you accept, the whole content of the music folder will be copied.
    But that's not all (only copying the folder isn't special^^): You can synchronize the local safed music folder wth the music folder at the Meizu and vice versa.

    Meaning of some German words:
    Ordner = folder
    Inhaltlicher Vergleich von Dateien (dauert länger) = Compare the content of every file (takes longer)
    Art der Synchronisierung = Kind of synchronizing
    Wechseldatenträger = removable medium
    Synchronisierung beginnen = start synchronizing

    Great work.
    Good luck by the rest of the English translation.
