    @makd511: Thank you very much

    ----

Here is the release of alpha 2:
edit: MiniExplorer has some corrupted features. I'll release Alpha 3 soon.

    What's new?
A lot of things are new!
I added the MiniExplorer (yes, I renamed it) and the button 'Safe disconnect'.
And I reduced the number of tabs. 'Pictures' and 'Wallpapers' are merged into the tab 'Pictures', the tabs 'MiniExplorer' and 'Firmware' are merged into the tab 'Tools'.
At the MiniExplorer, you can transfer files from PC to Meizu and from Meizu to PC, you can delete files and folders if you right-click the listview.
The 'Safe disconnect' button's feature is clear: Click the button and the device will be disconnected safely.

    Thank you, nice2know_u!

I develop with C# since 2 years. I created some programs with it, 2 very useful (e.g. a program where you can choose the programs which have to be downloaded) and 2 useless ones (fun programs).
Before it, I made some little programs with Visual Basic .NET. The programs I made were very useless cause I added functions senselessly. :D

I also do some art with PhotoImpact or PhotoShop.

    again good work

what i will say though (but you can choose to ignore me) is not to worry too much about the UI at this stage, you need really to get all the functionality sorted, tested and debugged. When all that is done sit back and try and organise this into a cohrent and usable peice of software. UI design should never be taken lightly, a common error by programmers. A badly designed and organised user interface can ruin a potentialy useful program

    thats just my personal view.

BTW i do not see playlists organisation on the todo list, are you going to add this, to rename them or possibly create a playlist from selection on the minibrowser??

    cheers

You mean that I should design the GUI of all features I'll create?

Not sure what you mean here, what i meant was that the GUI should be left till last. Create the functions and test them first, then design the gui. Other wise you will end up putting things all over the place and moving them around all the time.
Get the features sorted then look at how to best organise them in a nice and usable interface.
This is not criticism BTW, just a thought so you can concentrate on one thing at a time

Du bist schnell wie der Wind, ForceDragonX. Wenig Zeit aber viel Energie. Schule und Meizu. Und wahrscheinlich noch ein paar andere Sachen zu tun. Congrats !
Die Fehlermeldung ist weg bei mir.

    You are as fast as the wind, ForceDragonX. Not much time but much energie. School and Meizu. And probably some more things to do. Congrats ! I don't get the error message any more. I just translated what he said (;

Today I registered a server for the firmware skins.
But: I need the permission to add the skin by the author. Send me a private message if you give me the permission to add your skin to Meizucenter.

The server is: Index of /
It's not really interesting for you but maybe I'll make a website for the project.

Wow this has got to be the fastest production of a program by one person I have ever seen! I applaud you for you spending your time on this project.

    Sehr Toll! :P

I think a skin installer is good for people who aren't experienced, but not sure about a centralized skin database. The reason being that it will be hard to update and keep updated, and that there are multiple sources for skins. Chinese BBS, Meizu Me.

I believe more in a skin installer that helps unpack the files into the Meizu one by one from a ZIP or RAR and gives instructions to the user of what to do. Is this possible?
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

If the skin has been in a ZIP file it would be possible cause there's a library for handling ZIP files.
I don't know whether there's an SDK or library for RAR archives.
    I'll try.

    Thank you

@Err0r: I know how I can realize the dynamic database.
But I need your help: Could you create an RSS Feed to the Meizu M6 Skins (Beta) please? Or a special RSS Feed for skins for all Meizu players? The RSS Feed needs information like: screenshot, direct download link, firmware version...

    Can you realize that?

And if someone speaks Chinese, could that one ask an admin of MeizuBBS?

edit: @stranded: Why do you use alpha 1? I already fixed that bug with alpha 4 (or 5? I'm not sure)
