Good news!

MeizuCenter Pre-Alpha 7

What's new?
I added a new tab 'Wallpapers'.
You can simply check the wallpaper should be added at the Meizu.
Then click the button 'Add selected wallpapers to removable device'.
Bling!, the wallpapers are there.

edit:
Forgot to say: If you only select a name of a wallpaper, there's a preview of it!

It's worth testing!

This sounds good. I'm going to try it now.

(It was very hard to download from that site because of some popup advertisment. So I'll take it to my web-storage and you can download it directly.)

Ok, I've tested this program. Well I have some problem because when I start the program, it will brake apart. Although I can use the functions except for the video conversion. I pressed the "Add" button but nothing was happened.

(Oh, and I have the 2.004.6 firmware on my TP M6)

Here is a picture of the problem window: click

I'm going to find and fix the problems.
The strange thing: If you set the language to German, the video conversion works fine. But if it's English... nothing happens.

Well, according to the early development of the stuff you worked very well except for this tiny problem. Nice work!

MeizuCenter Pre-Alpha 9

What's new?
I fixed some bugs (e.g. the video conversion - now it works fine).
And the better thing: Improved error handling.
If there's an error, a message will be shown AND a file will be created.
The name of the file is: 'Error *date*, *time*.txt'. It contains detailed informations about the error.
If you have an error, post the content here.

excellent work so far - well done
couple of ideas:

1. Have button to "safe disconnect" the player, so do not have to go to the toolbar and select it
2. Skin/Theme manager/organiser, so you can see what skins are on your computer and click to copy to the player, maybe a link up to the new themes section of the site and download thumbnails of what available, click to download and install.
3. split screen file browser, so you can see the player and your computer files at same time then drag drop or right click to add to player
4. Album art added automatically if exists on the host computer, automatic resize and rename to correct method of users storage method on the player

Auto album art would be a great feature, but as there a several methods for this we would need to pull together all knowledge and build in the intelligence so that it is stored correctly to work with the users preferred method.

well done and keep up the good work, i think this has masses of potential

Hm did you think about if your allowed to use "Meizu" as the name of your program? Personally I would leave the name as it is, because I don't think that Meizu is a company like Microsoft etc. that sues everyone who uses anything related to them. I hope Meizu is a company that recognices this program as free advertising and as another reason to buy Meizu...

Just want you to think about this (;

wouldn't it be great to use the new skin galerie of this board directly in your software, so that you can select a skin on this page and install it directly on the player?
I would like that feature pretty much (;

OK, I've tested the alpha one too. Here's the log of the error:

"System.InvalidOperationException: Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created.
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.MarshaledInvoke(Contr ol caller, Delegate method, Object[] args, Boolean synchronous)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.Invoke(Delegate method, Object[] args)
at MeizuCenter.Form1en.AddListViewItems()"

One more thing. I noticed that the program had sent a command to search at the floppy drive. Or is it normal when a C# coded (working with .NET framework) program do this?

However it still works fine. Oh, and here is a direct link, perhaps it's faster: MeizuCenter alpha

Mono, M3 internal database

Hello ForceDragonX,

have you thought of switching to Mono?
this way it would be easier to make the application crossplatform.
Also, do you have any specs for the internal M3 database?
Does you program create such DB for the M3 so that the M3 doesn't have to create it by itself?

@MeizuZen: If you can give me a link to a tutorial for mono (the best would be a German tutorial, but it can also be English).

@all:

The current progress: I added the 'Safe disconnect' button.
I actually develop the MiniBrowser.
It's a browser where you can easily drag'n'drop files between computer and the Meizu. I only implemented file listing. (I've school so I haven't enough time to develop many functions) (You want to know my age?^^)

Screenshot (German, English isn't yet implemented):

nice work there buddy!...
just one question....in the music tab, are the ID3 tags going to be visible?...and i know am asking for too much but will it be possible to edit the tags on the manager itself?...just something you can look at when you have time cuz it seems you have a lot of work on ur hands already...

Thank you

Sure, ID3 tags will be visible and I'll add a 'id3 tag editor' into MeizuCenter.
When this program releases it'll make our life with Meizu much better.
