m6_patch_font tool doesn't import fonts, it only uses fonts that are already in firmware. As there is no Thai by default - m6_patch_font fails.

BTW, if you use m6_font_import and then m6_patch_font you'll be able to read txt written in Thai!

I use an english windows with installed chinese font that I want to put on. Do I need a chinese windows for it to change the font to chinese?

Probably yes, because Windows needs not only the chinese fonts but also engines to render that fonts. You can install chinese support in control panel/regional and language settings, 2nd tab Languages. There is Additional languages groupbox. Set all checkboxes.

I already had that on. Maybe when I get time, I will try it on my other computer, running CHT windows XP.

Would it be possible to expand the functionality by making M6 antialias the the fonts?

No. Only if Meizu open the source or at least some parts of it, it will become possible.

i dont know why but somehow it dosent work for me ive done everything exactly like in the description but when i update the modified FW everything looks like before ?
