is the plug on your player moving somehow?
Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.

if it happens with all sets of headphones its probably the jack connection of the player that's unstable. Get it fixed by the seller who sold it to you as this doesn't seem to be a firmware or headphone problem

Yup it definitely is a problem with the player's female jack connector... you should get in touch with your seller so that you can return it.

    bad luck

Yeah I had that problem - with two mp3 players now - the jack connectors get tugged a bit and their solder breaks away from the circuit board.

Unless you can solder I suggest you take it back to the retailer - or an understanding friend who can =]

I dont think you get that problem with the M6 , the jack conenctor isnt actaully on the curcuit board , its on a seperate ribbon conenctor

I'd take it back even if you can solder. Doing anything about it yourself voids your warranty.

either the jack connecter or the ribbon strip is stuffed, so, if you're a hell of a good solderer, go ahead. Other than that it voids warranty, so send it back and/or get it fixed
