Yes, with rockbox you save the EQ settings to files.

new cans are arriving in a few days, ath a700 this will be my first set of closed headphones. besides iem's i also have senn 545 which are probally 20 years old and senn 477s and 485s. they're all so very different in sound and comfort that setting all the presets is actually pretty easy and just scrolling through is simple enough.

if i could just find the comfort (doesn't exist, small joke) settings that would release the vise clamp off my ears from the 477s < i've tried to get the band to relax by putting it on a wide structure but the plastic snaps back to vice like form in just a few hours. sad, they sound so sweet but hurt so much.

sorry for the off topic and hey as long as i'm screwing up the thread i'd like to report my first hang with my m6sl. keep in mind this is four? months of daily use....

i was screwing around with the sound settings and my player froze... nothing worked and i quickly ran to the computer and pluged in the usb hoping that it would reset. tried the dfu... nothing. i was just sitting with my finger on the shut down and after a few mins i noticed the player had turned off. great joy since it restarted and no problem since. phew.

the offending sennheisers are being given to a family member whose head is a more natural fit. the ath a700 arrived, these are wonderful. you've all read phone reviews where the listener hears details in music that previously had been unheard. this is one of those. omg these are big and the sound is too. nice to be able to pick out different instruments and follow them through a song.
