Hey, sorry for this criticism but... For $250 the product looks kinda cheap. The wires look fairly thin and easy to snap (which I've already done with my V-Moda Bass Freqs). I mean the Shures E2Cs which are fairly cheap offer thicker more durable looking wires.
Sorry bro, thats all.
But I have no doubt I'd be paying for extremely good sound quality if I were to buy a pair.

I can vouch for that.
The Shure wires are rugged and strong, so are the earphones themselves..
the wires do get tangled easily though

Actually, NOT ALL Shure IEMs have these 'thicker' cable assemblies.
My US 500.00 E500 PTH IEM's Cables Are Not very Impressive, Though The Sound Quality Certainly Is!

Why not give the Westone UM1 a try? I have the UM2s which I was lucky to pick up brand new for $250 and they have fantastic synergy with the M6. When properly equalized I can't imagine having much better sound coming from a portable setup. The UM1s look very very similar and have the same famous thin (yet very sturdy) cable and I sleep in my Um2s every night with no problems. Mine only just recently had trouble with the cable and I've been giving them hard use for almost 2 years now. You can nab the Um1s for just over $100 so I would definitely look into em.

I have been looking into Westones, but I seem to want to get the UM2 more than the UM1, I know its miles cheaper, but seems to have the increased bass I've been looking for in headphones.
Thus the Sparkplugs and the Bass Freqs.

If both BASS and Value are what you're looking for, you really should take a listen to the V-MODA VIBES.
They're a very strong pop/rock/electronica/rnb IEM, extremely comfortable and unbelievably handsome.
If you really want to get 'Blown Away' take a gander at what surely must be the best value in IEMs EVER!
The CrossRoads MylarThree.
I got mine for US 57.00, and I'd put them up against my Eytomotic Er4p's, Westone UM2's and my Shure E5c's, and they'd consistently trample them all.
I honestly believe that these CrossRoads IEM's completely obliterate the old adage, 'You get What You Pay For', because they sound like they cost (at least) 5 Times More!

Sorry man.
Philips don't seem to cut it for me, they try to look pro but their earphones are pretty amateurish.

I just got myself a set of these:
http://www.headphones.com.au/psingle?productID=321
and I'm pretty freakin amazed by them. My first pair of canalphones so they are taking a bit of getting used to, but the SQ is very sweet for the price [those are Australian dollars btw].
My home setup is Grado SR-80's with a CMOY and a Chaintech AV-710 with Fb2k. Nothing there that will break the bank, but still quite a step above the 50c bangers you get for free with most players.
I got the Vsonics for commuting on train and bus. I wanted some isolation from the noise and didn't want to share my audio with everyone else. I also wanted something small and portable. The Vsonics are amazing sounding phones for the price, I can't rate them enough. They are new to the market, but a quick google will tell you that they compete very favourably with the big old boys.

In terms of design they do look quite good... but for 25 dollars... one would have second thoughts.

Well, we can't really judge can we? We haven't exactly had a hands on approach with them, so we wouldn't know if its worth it or not.

I have heard that those OVC T11 earphones are very good, the price is good too. I might order them with a Music Card.
