can i trust ebay?

Hey everyone

I'm looking for some new earphones. I really liked the Creative EP-360, and I saw some of them on eBay. They were really cheap but the seller had good reviews and stuff. Can I trust them? :D Or should I just buy one in a local shop? I really like eBay though because everything is in dollars and they aren't worth anything

There are a lot of fakes with the original packaging. It's hard to tell. Usually you are safe if you buy within the United States.

Send the listing to me in a PM, I can probably tell if it's real.

Somehow Chinese and Hong-Kong sellers are able to get Australian accounts.

It's almost sure they are fake.

with ebay it is always necessary to have a look at the sellers:

rating
amount of feedback
if there are negatives, what they say

I agree with iverson, with anything on ebay be sure to check their feedback first. I usually go for 98.5%+ with seller having at least 100 feedback. In anycase, you should also be using your common sense, if something retails for around 200AUD, and someone ebay is selling it to you for 10AUD, is it realistic to expect something good?

I got the Sennheiser CX300 for 25 USD I think. Really cheap compared to other prices, like 60 - 80 bucks. They work great and sound better. Seller was from the US. Other from Asia were like 6-10 USD.

i based my purchase on the sellers feedback.
