    Voice recording: How to stop???

I am recording voice but there seems to be no option to STOP recording!

How do i get back from the recording screen to the normal menu?
pressing the power/play button just pauzes the recording.
The touchstrip does nothing usefull while recording either

normally to get back to the manu i press the powerbutton shortly.
it doesnt work while recoding voice.

    any suggestions?

It is the tiny hole next to your headphone jack.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

it means it it will try to keep relatively the same volume level - ie when things are quiet it amplifies things.

as for the mic, i've noticed on med/high record quality settings, there is a high pitched hissing noise in dead silence which is rather annoying, is this common or just my player?

You can also throw your Meizu strongly on a Wall ... it should stop voice recording :P

But it should stop everything else, that is the main default of this way to do .... :D

-->im recording lectures (in a small room) and while the player is 2m from the speaker, the hiss and background noise of the recorded file is very high. this makes it hard to decifer what the speaker is saying. Auto gain is ON and I have tried high and med quality recording. FW is 10. ANy tips or is this the recording quality I should expect from the M6...?

Yeah I get the same. I think this is caused by the fact that the Meizu wasn't used to record from sources in a room but more like conversations directly into the mic.
I havent been able to find a work around using settings...

I never tried but I think even with auto gain on it would sound bad.
The Meizus little mic is not meant to record things like that
