both the Xin Supermacro and the headroom total bithead are great companions for your M6 and give nice synergy. Most important part is that they clean up the noisy output of the M6.
    Current Rigs:
    8GB iAudio 7 > Not in use
    4GB + 32GB iAudio D2 > Alessandro MS-Pro
Sony MZ-NH1 > Headroom Total Bithead > Grado Labs PS-1
    2GB Meizu M6 T1 > Not in use
    8GB iPod Touch 2G > Shure SE530

My m6 is amped through a c&c box v2. I really enjoy the new and improved sound quality and the lack of hiss.

    http://www.tnt-audio.com/ampli/t-amp_e.html

Just type in Google Sonic T-amp, you'll see something you've never seen before !!! Everybody loves it !! Professionals, Hifi specialists, and users.

I have one, I paid it 40€, it sounds just incredible

And it makes a very good combo with the Meizu, a real super compact High End audio system (except for the loudspeakers )

i use a plain old cmoy amp using the AD8397 opamp, folks have different opinions on cmoy's, but i find my amp tightens up the treble and midrange nicely and expands the bass just to the right amount, also clears up the very very small amount of hiss on my m3 (probably more my 'phones fault rather than the players). gives a nice increase in signal strength to for hooking up the player to my home stereo.

    lol sure nice suggestion...
no clue if ur trying to be funny but surely u know u gotta wait 6 months b4 recieving them

there are a ton of amps around...

    http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showth...ghlight=review

    those are a good list

the other suggestions are just not worth trying

if ur talking about below 100 dollar budget see if u can get a used DIY mini^3
or the cMoy Bass Booster altho the casing is really fugly IMO
    altoids? no thx

good luck in ur search for ur amp
i've heard too many people say that meizu doesn't need amping
    then again i m using a grado325i which x2 doesn't need amping
but wth even if it improves clearity by 10-15%
    go for it =)
i m searching for my amp too hee

I didn't have to wait 6 months. You're paying for the quality, If you're saying that they arent worth trying, you are horribly mistaken.

the wait is not worth it... ur probably a lucky 1...
true i know about its quality...
but using that model as a standard for a good amp is hugely mistaken
y not mention the lisaIII then

ur telling someone new to try a almost high end portable amp and wait what most people go thru 4 - 6 months

ahaha... thats all i can say

Well the person who makes them, builds them per order. He doesnt keep a stockpile of amps to sell lol. , Being custom built, they represent the one of the finest standards in portable amplifiers.

You have a point however in saying that a person new to audio might not know the difference between a high end amp and something that costs less. But I'm not the one to judge whether someone is new to an audio arena or not :D

As for the lisa 3, I don't think thats very portable, its way larger than your palm lol.

i think if i would like a xin for next year's christmas i better order in may coz
    http://www.fixup.net/talk/topic.asp?...0&whichpage=26
some people do wait a hell long time
if i do have more money than i need i probably would order 1
but apparently the wait time depends on specific models

there is no judgmental nor service to that product
apparently neither does it have a first come first serve system of doing things
irrational? yes... worth the wait? lol... nothing is worth that long of a time

I have an Ibasso T2 http://www.ibasso.com/ paired w/ my M6. Its a perfect fit, the sexiest DAP + the sexiest portable amp = The amp is actually smaller then the M6 if you can believe that! It looks extremely similar to the black M6, black on one side and chrome on the other. Price not too bad @ $109. Lots of extras on the T2, gain switch, bass boost etc. Also has dual headphone outputs. Just get a good interconnect and your all set.

Since the M6 doesn't have a line out do you just use the headphone jack into your amp? If so, what volume level do you use on the M6?

Yes use the line/headphone out to the amp. I usually use 16-18 and allow the amp and refine the volume.

Any amp will improve the sound as long as one has quality a source. I very much enjoy the sound improvements w/ the M6 and T2. There are better amps out there, but there is not a better amp that is truly portable. The Corda Move is awesome but its pretty big, at least 3-4x the size of the T2. It also costs over 2x as much! Is it 2x better? I don't know...

The T2 also has dual headphone outs so you can split the single without loss of sound quality. Also it has a gain switch and bass boost for finer tweaking. The sound is very impressive for a tiny unit like the T2.The bass, mids are clearer, smoother and louder. Soundstage has improvements but I usually use my Grado SR225 on them so that can doesn't really have much soundstage in the first place. I should hook up my Beyerdynamics DT770Pro80s to get a better overall feel of the soundstage increase. This amp can so drive those cans well, it doesn't break a sweet driving my grado's.
