My Meizu M6 Hifi Station :-)

Hello and greetings from the north of Germany!

Photos of my MiniHifiStation for the M6 MiniPlayer ...

The Amp is an cheap E-SA 9 Mini-Amp and the DIY speakers are Omnes Audio BB 3.01 as bassreflex.
    Sounds great ...

Pretty damn cool. How hard is it to make your own speakers?

Itīs easy when you get a kit with all needed components ... the chassis, the components for the frequency filter and the construction drawing. You can get these in a lot of DIY-speaker onlineshops.
So itīs only a little bit soldering and building the box in wood you like (this is 12mm birch multiplex). You can get exactly blank of the wood in a lot of DIY-stores.

And in my opinion you get much more for your money when you build a speaker by your own.

Sorry about my bad english (maybe this forum is a good way to make it better ).

i agree with jenzore. your workmanship looks marvellous dischu, sehr sehr gut.
i do like the speakers and the way you have finished off the amp with side plates made of the same wood as the speakers.

looks a neat little amp, could you please give me more details on it, and what is the sound from the speakers like?

    Cool!

Wow! The Meizu outputs some terrific sound already on my Sony earphones. I can only imagine what's coming out of that system!

    Thanks all!

    @ jenzore:
Das Band war beim meinem M6 mit dabei, da kann man dann versch. lange Bänder einklicken.

    @ che:
The original side plates of the amp was plastic, it looked very cheap.

The amp is a cheap mini amp named E-SA 9 (2x 12W), which you can get at eBay often (about 30,00 EUR).
Itīs OK (the speakers are much more importent for good sound).
A very good alternative is the Sonic Impact T-Amp. It donīt look nice, but it gets complements all round.

The speakers are broadbandspeakers Omnes Audio BB 3.01 (about 25,00 EUR/piece)

And this small 3" speaker is great. You can hear every detail and in 2,5 liter bassreflex I donīt miss a subwoofer. OK, there is no deep-bass, but hey, itīs a 3" speaker.

One more important thing: This hifi-station is NOT ipod compatible :D

I suppose that this is a joke

Anyway I would like to read a good review about iPod sound... a objective one not that kind that USA people write hypnotized by the expensive device.

Unfortunately i haven't had the time to fully test one by myself
