    Kick Ass Sound.

I thought it would be a good idea to hook up my MEIZU to my AV reciver just to see what it sounded like.Guess what people BLOWN AWAY An absolutly totally amazing sound every day this little black wonder never fails to amaze me. The burning question is was it the MEIZU or was it the AV reciever(HARDON CARDON)or is it both.I wonder what it sounds like when you start to fiddle with the EQ.The other plus point is that you dont have to get up and change CDs all the time.I think this could be happening more often now.Happy with the person who discovered 5 Channel Stereo.Amazing!!!!!!!!!!

I think that it was both, let me explane it this way:

You can have verry bad earphone's, and the next day you have sennheiser or somthing like that, and then you will hear the difference to
I have at my home also an reciever and i use it this way to, and it sounds with me perfectly :D .

its the receiver but more importantly the speakers.

The speakers determine the biggest part of the sound youll get

Harman Kardon(I assume you mean that one right? ) has very good stuff so if your amplifier or receiver is from them i assume you have a decent pair of speakers too

Almost right, its the DSP, then Amplifier, then speakers.

hmm... actually you need all three for good sound. Seems M6 is doing a good job. :D

Add to that the quality of the recording and encoding of the files... THAT would be the #1 thing that affects sound quality.

What do you use to connect the M6 to the receiver?

hmmm....seeing that the m6 only has a 3.5mm output, there isn't much choice in the matter.

I connected my m6 to the audio in on my surround set using 3.5jack -> 2 cinch connectors (1 red 1 white). I maxed the volume of the m6 and also had to up the volume of the set to get a decent volume.

So the volume is quite low, others also think so?

Yep... it blew me away also. Even though my old 5.1 can't handle some low frequency bass. If i use the M6 on my car, the sound quality is great.
My pt800 is broken.. now i need a Senn or something to replace it.

Free Lossless Audio Codec - an alternative codec, to say mp3, that doesn't loose a single bit of audio quality from the original. Takes up a lot more room though. Check http://flac.sourceforge.net/ for more info.
