Well the meizu m6 alone cannot harness the full potential of the ER-4P. After you do decide to get them , I recommend getting the P-S adaptor for your ER-4 and then getting a portable amplifier, you'll really bring out the details and bass of the ER-4. Then you can get the UE11

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsKoss headphones are the best.
I have heard alot of headphones before, and hands down my favorite are Koss headphones. I have bought some that cost about $5.00 that have beat out my old sonys that cost like $50.00.

Hi,
I read that you are busy right now, so would it be terribly cheeky of me to ask you to help me a bit.
Since you do have more experience in this^^;
Could you tell me the difference between sennheiser PX100's and PX200's?
And did you ever try AKG K450's or AKG K416's ?? ;_; im planing on buying some of those but im not sure yet wich ones.

Though they don't get much good publicity online (for whatever reason), Skullcandy in-ear earbuds ar the best I've ever experienced, and don't top $20 anywhere that I've seen...

I've had a pretty brief experience with Skullcandy's on my friend's iPod touch 2G. I wasn't impressed, and since he buys the songs from iTunes, it can't be the encoding quality. I think if I tried them on my M6 and tuned the EQ to them, they'd probably sound a lot better.

My experience with Skullcandys are the Bass is good, but overwhelming, and Mids and Highs are just drowned out, and aren't even good at that. However, if you only care about Bass (ie Hip/Hop, Rap listeners), then they are a good choice.

what would you say are the best overall (under $20, of course)? I heard Koss brands are hella good, but I've never seen them in-store anywhere...

For $25 you can get a SoundMagic PL-30. They are the best canalphones/iems I have tried in that price range. It is more analytical though, which means all the frequencies are balanced, neither one is louder or more pronounced than another, and a very detailed, clear, 3 dimensional sound (You can pick out individual instruments, vocals, etc and "examine them"). One word of note though, Bass is not strong at all (quantity wise), but is detailed and punchy. You can always EQ it though. I find myself using the M6's Bass Boost with the PL-30s, more than other headphones. The PL-30 really shines with some EQing.

Thanked 19 Times in 19 PostsAnother vote for PL30 here. Still slightly out of your price range of cause. You won't find any much good below 20 bucks.

I've been using the Sennheiser HD 212Pro for more than one year and I'm very pleased with, it's very comfortable and the sound quality is magic!!! especially bass.

At home I'm also using Sony MDR-SA 5000 which are the best headphones ever (I'm not joking) but they cost more than 100$...

Don't buy Skullcandys they are really fashionable but the sound quality is very bad!Last edited by Sheldon; 07-02-2010 at 07:12 AM.

*Almost* Dead thread revival!! I recently (well maybe more like 3 months ago) purchased the Philips HP910, and am blown away. These things are great, and cost only $20 if you can find them. Great low down punch with some EQing, but if used "flat" these things are generally balanced, and have a nice sparkle in the treble. They are rather large though, but very comfy.

OMG. I have not logged into meizume for like a few years now. I've recently purchased the Audio Technica ATH-CK100, and I must say my search for the best sounding (to me at least =P ) universal IEM is over. XD
