    Adjustable Radiosound with Meizu M6

    Hallo community,

I `am searching for a MP3-Player with FM-Radio built in, and with an adjustable FM-Radio-Sound.

All the MP-3-Players I`ve found searching in the (web-) market, had only the feasibilty to adjust the sound of the MP3-Files via Equalizer or Functions such as DBB or Bass Boost or something like that and not for the radio-sound.

My old and unfortunately defect MP3-Player (Typ: Vaiox Xen) has the option, to adjust the FM-Radio-Sound with a DBB-Function, that works like the "old" Loudness-Function in a HiFi-Stereo-Amplifire, so that you can hear the music not so loud, but although with great bass and treble.

I `am commuting with the train for job every day, and listning to the radio, and I like beside the MP3-Sound also a great Radio-Sound.

In an ebay-auction concernig a MEIZU M6-Player I could read, that the MEIZU M6-Player has an adjustable Radio-Sound.

But the seller could not confirm whether the radio-sound is adjustable.

    Now my question for you:

Is the Radio-sound of the MEIZU M6-Player in any way adjustable, and when yes, in wihich way, or is there any other player with this function???

    Many thanks for your answers!!

No the Meizu cannot do that, but the sound quality of songs will more than make up for it. It will blow you away. I'm not joking. The Meizu sounds better than an iPod. I have tried both before.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

I think I know why most DAP manufacturers don't offer sound manipulation on the FM part. The effects, like EQ and 3d are digital based, but the output of the FM chip is analogue. To modifiy that sound you'd either have to supply analogue technique which is much too large, or you'd have to resample the analogue output, which would be possible in terms of space but would also add some extra costs to the player which would possibly surpass the production costs.

I think the porducers only want to save prductions costs. I dont´think that it is a technical problem to built in a adjustable radio-sound. Like I wrote in my first posting: my old player has this function! And it is the same function for the MP3-Sound and the FM-Radio-Sound. I think it would be possible to solve the "problem" with adapting the firmware of the player(s).

But if there is no one more then me, who has "this problem" or "wish" I think that I can wait a long time again...
